Research
Operational research is a key area of Groupe URD’s work.
The objective of our research is to understand the challenges facing humanitarian actors and the dynamics of crisis and post-crisis contexts in order to suggest ways to improve and adapt humanitarian practices.
Different sector-based studies (Water and Sanitation, Nutrition, Food Security, etc.) or cross-sector studies (Environment, LRRD, Quality in humanitarian action, etc.) are carried out each year. Their results are made widely available via published documents, internet, symposia, conferences, etc.
